Gibbsboro is a borough in Camden County. It borders Lindenwold and Voorhees. The borough has a total area of 2.2 square miles and a population around 2,500. Gibbsboro is proud of its legacy as the site of a Walt Whitman home and the birthplace of the Lucas Paint Company. Even after the company's acquisition by Sherwin-Williams, the Lucas name appeared on labels because of the company's outstanding reputation.
