Florida is a village in Orange County. The village was founded in 1760 and incorporated in 1946. It is primarily in the town of Warwick, but a small part of the northern end of the village is in the town of Goshen. The village has a total area of 1.9 square miles, all of which is land and the population is around 2,700. Florida calls itself the Onion Capital of the World, due to its vast onion fields. The village is west of Glenmere lake and east of Warwick, New York.
